About Me

Hi! My name is Krzysztof (Chris) Planeta, and I am a freelance web designer and template developer from Poland and – guess what – I love to design!

I love design and everything about it. Most of all however I love to design websites. I find it most challenging since they don’t only have to look good but also be well thought. Correct typography, usability and user experience, color schemes, these are just off the top of my head.

However, you cannot be a real web designer without even the slightest knowlege of HTML and CSS. I learned them by practice and soon added Javascript, JQuery and even basic PHP to the pack. Knowing them made me a better designer, more conscious of system capabilities. Now, I simply cannot imagine working in the business and not knowing them. If you have read my blog you must have noticed that most of the articles are not actually about design, but about software, programming and correct coding practices.
